Black Panther (T’Challa)
| I enoyed seeing Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa (Black Panther) in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Like most people I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Hampton Comicon 2021 was the first convention after his death that I had a chance to do a tribute to the actor. | ||

| I don’t have any build pics from this project. This was a fairly normal statue. I tried to give the hair on top some texture by using expanding spray foam but it doesn’t blend well into the rest of the head. It almost looks like he’s wearing a headband. I turned the arm out a little to simulate an attack position but in close up pictures from the front it looks a little weird. I also added claws to the LEGO hands. | ||
UPDATE: For Hampton Comicon 2022, I decided to update the head of Black Panther to look like he’s wearing the mask. I made no changes to the rest of the body. | ||
